ELF Products Review[s]

heyyy :) so this blog post was requested by a subscriber of my youtube channel, and i thought it would be really fun to do! i'm going to review all of my recent ELF [eyeslipsface] purchases. check out my youtube channel for the haul [elf 50% off sale] i just uploaded a video of my review on the eye brow kit so check my channel out for that also...so here we go!

So, the first product is the milk and honey body wash. for 3$ you get so much product and it lasts for soo long! i have been using this wash now for about a month and i'm not even half way through. its not hydrating, but it also doesn't dry out your skin. it just smells soooo good, and it gets really sudsy which i love. overall a good product, i will repurchase the body washes again! i also want to try the lotions, i can just imagine how good they would smell compared to the body washes!

Second, is the cream blush in 'flirt' i LOVE this blush! i have never felt a cream blush like this, they are usually creamer. this blush has more of a clay like feel, but it is so light. It is incredibly smooth, lightweight, and the easiest thing to blend. i love the color, you can really blend it to be as pigmented on un-pigmented as you want. this also is a great color and can be used as a lipstain. i will so be repurchaseing this and other colors! my new favorite blush that i have in my collection. the one downside is that the packaging is so large and doesn't fit nicely into my drawers of blush.

This is the radience enhancer in, sunrise. this product was on the products i regret buying video that i did a few days ago. i hate the applicator its bristle and its super easy to pump to much produc out.it looks like you get a good amount of product in this, but by the time that you pump it up there isn't much in there. the packaging is to bulky, and the product inside is to shimmery. its not a nice subtle highlight at all. the color is way to dark for my skin ton and it feels icky on my skin. i will not be repurchasing this product again.

The next item i purchased was the angled eyeliner brush. this brush is okay, but i don't love it. i feel like it does do a good job but the bristles themselves are to small to pick up enough product, atleast for me. i also don't like how flimsy that brisltes are, i tend to like mine to be thick and stiff so it doesn't flop around while i'm trying to apply the product. overall i do not love this brush.

Okay, so next is the angeld foundation brush. Like most of the studio brushes that i own i freaking adore this brush. it is smaller then it looks online and even here in this picture. but it is the absolute best for contouring, making it very easy to get into the hollow of your cheeks. i love the sturdiness of the brush, and the quality of the handle and bristles are nice. this will be a perminant brush in my collection for now on.

I purchased 3 minty lip glosses: nashville, miami, and los angeles. i don't care for this glosses much at all. i do love the packaging, its very sturdy. and the colors look dreamy in the packaging and online. but these glosses have no pigmentation. when you put it on your lips it goes clear. the minty of this gloss might be enjoyable to some, but for me i just don't like it. the smell of this gloss isn't that great either. i also find that the glitter in this gloss is way to chunky, but doesn't even really show up on your lips what so ever. i will not buy these again.

The second to the last item that i bought was the mineral lipstick, 5$, in runway pink. i do love the mineral lipsticks but this color was disappointing to me. in this picture the color looks like a lovely baby pink but in reality its a darker rosy pink. i have many lipsticks in colors simialr to this, so i was very disappointed to find that this color was not the dreamy pink i pictured. i could have saved 5$ and used the lipsticks that i had. this is the one thing that ELF really needs to work on, their swatches are hardly ever true to color.

Lastly, i tried the studio volume mascara. the packaging of this product is sturdy, otherwise its nothing special. the desigin of it is very bland and doesn't stand out to me whenever i'm looking for a mascara in the morning. you don't get much product with this mascara, and i have a feeling that it is going to dry out quickly. its a very dry mascara, not wet at all. it doesn't make your lashes very long, so if you have short lashes to begin with this isn't the product for you. what it does do nicely is not clump your lashes together. it, infact, really spaces them out. i wouldn't say that it makes you look like you have more lashes, but it doesn't clump them together and make them look spidery like most mascaras do! overall this is an okay mascara, but i have tried so many other mascaras that just do better and look better then this one that i won't spend my money on this item again.

thank you everyone so much for reading this! have a wonderful day
